Dr. Rob O’Lynn, Senior Minister

New Profile PictureI have been the Senior Minister at Beech Street since August 2014. Prior to that, I served congregations in Arkansas, Texas, West Virginia and Kentucky, and worked as a chaplain at Cabell Huntington Hospital. In addition to leading here, I also teach ministry full-time at Kentucky Christian University and part-time at Johnson University and Fuller Theological Seminary.

I enjoy sharing my faith with others, spending time with my family, routing for the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes, brewing tea and reading.

I received my education from Harding University (BA), the Austin Graduate School of Theology (MA), Lubbock Christian University (MDiv), and the Harding School of Theology (DMin), as well as Abilene Christian University (conflict management) and Marshall University (counseling).

My wife, Rachael, is a native of San Diego, and is a graduate of Palomar College and Shawnee State University. She and I have two wonderful kids!

I hope to see you soon at one of our worship services, and feel free to connect with me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, or through my blog.

Scott Durbin, Youth Minister

I have been the Youth Minister at Beech Street since November 2013.  Prior to that, I worked with the Norway Avenue Church of Christ in Huntington, West Virginia, and at Howell’s Mill Christian Assembly, a church camp in Ona, West Virginia.  I enjoy hanging out with teenagers, running and cheering for the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes and Columbus Blue Jackets.  I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kentucky Christian University.
