Dr. Rob O’Lynn, Senior Minister
Rob has been the Senior Minister at Beech Street since August 2014. Prior to that, he served congregations in Arkansas, Texas, West Virginia and Kentucky, and has worked as a chaplain at two hospitals. In addition to leading here, he also teaches ministry full-time at Kentucky Christian University and part-time at Johnson University and Fuller Theological Seminary.
He enjoys sharing his faith with others, spending time with his family, rooting for the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes, brewing tea and reading.
He received his education from Harding University (BA), the Austin Graduate School of Theology (MA), Lubbock Christian University (MDiv), and the Harding School of Theology (DMin), as well as Abilene Christian University (conflict management) and Marshall University (counseling).
His wife, Rachael, is a native of San Diego, and is a graduate of Palomar College, Shawnee State University and the University of Nebraska. They have two wonderful kids!

Sarah Brown, Music Minister
Sarah has been the Music Minister at Beech Street since November 2021. Prior to that, she served congregations in Massachusetts, Vermont, Indiana, New York and New Hampshire. She has also taught at music at schools in many of these places, and is currently a piano and voice instructor for the Aspire Conservatory of Fine and Performing Arts here in Ashland.
She received her education from Morehead State University (BM), Vanderbilt University (MS), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv), New Hampshire Technical College at River Valley (ADN, RN), and Frontier University (MSN). She is currently pursuing her doctorate from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
